Hoopadelic, founded by Catherine Flournoy, is based out of Los Angeles, CA and was created as a vehicle to serve a higher consciousness, while connecting people to the life-changing art of hoopdance, or hoop trance dance. This exercise combines fluid and graceful full-body and off-body movements with the energetic essence of the childhood activity of "hula hooping", creating not only an incredible physical workout, but opening heightened levels of consciousness and a direct connection to Source.

In development since 2005, Hoopadelic's Hoop in Expansion (H.I.E.) modality offers a direct pathway to physical transformations, transcendental bliss, celebrating the body, soul and mind through hoopdance. The euphoria one experiences during hoopdance opens the body up to receive some of its greatest healing, while at the same time connecting one to the Master within. Although a fairly new phenomenon, hoopdance has begun to spread all over the world and it is a journey into the Self that we are happy to share with you.

Hoopdance is a meditative, low-to-no-impact exercise that, although it helps you burn calories [up to 600 in a one-hour session], we are more focused on giving you a complete body workout both inside and out. Hoopdancers have experienced a plethora of holistic benefits including emotional healing, greater creativity, heightened spirituality, increased self-confidence and self-love and an overall feeling of general happiness, oneness and well-being. Within these weeks of joyful fitness, as an added benefit hoopdance students have seen incredible results including more defined and stronger abs, arms, legs and buttocks. The powerful combination of these products is what creates not only a successful practice, but a consistent one.
